About our Organisation
In Coventry and Warwickshire they are working to help everyone lead healthier and happier lives, be part of a strong community and benefit from effective and sustainable health and care services where and when they need them most. To do this they work together in partnership across health and social care, removing the barriers between services and joining up care around people and populations.
They have well-established ICS leadership and Governance arrangements for their System, along with well-developed, distributed Place based activities which include all key NHS and local authority partners, Primary Care Networks, their Voluntary Community Sector and their communities working together to tackle inequalities.
The system has worked together to develop the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Strategy through their Integrated Care Partnership and the associated Integrated Health and Care Delivery Plan, led by the ICB. They’re committed to making things better in Coventry and Warwickshire, and as part of their ICB Board, Non-Executive Members have an important role to play in helping us achieve this.
About the role
The position of Non-Executive Member and Chair of their Finance and Performance Committee has recently become vacant, providing an exciting opportunity for the right individual to make a major contribution to the improvement of health and care services for the people in their system. As a suitable candidate you will be a senior finance professional and CCAB qualified accountant, with an appreciation of public sector finances, or from a similar regulated sector.
You will have gained significant experience operating at Board level, be able to demonstrate strong strategic leadership skills and a track record of leading transformational change within a politically charged environment. Most importantly, you will have exceptional personal integrity and be committed to improving outcomes for their population and addressing health inequalities.
They would particularly encourage applications from candidates with protected characteristics, as they committed to improving diversity within their system
