Workforce of over 6,500 dedicated healthcare professionals, responsible for delivering more than 70 services across 15 primary sites.
The Role:
Opportunity for a values-driven and inspiring Non-Executive Director to join the Trust Board, providing oversight, governance, leadership, and scrutiny as part of a cohesive and dynamic Unitary Board.
Chair their Finance, Investment & Performance Committee.
You:
Strategic finance leader with Board-level or equivalent experience gained in complex, changing, and multi-stakeholder environments.
A proven track record of driving financial improvement, performance measurement, and robust governance.
Able to demonstrate compassion for their staff and the communities They serve.
Commercial experience; this could be in the private, public or third sectors and it’s important to note that no prior experience of the NHS is needed.
Able to promote the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance.
Offer independent challenge and support.
Role model their values of Kindness, Respect, Ambition, and Collaboration.
Contribute to all aspects of the board agenda, bringing a breadth of perspective and the ability to understand complex strategic issues.
